ALC successfully defends the interests of a leading Oil & Gas Service Company in a complex labor dispute

ALC- Alieldean Weshahi & Partners is pleased to announce that we secured a favorable judgement for a leading multinational oil and gas services company in relation to a complex labor dispute.The Court of Appeal has upheld a favorable judgement issued by the Court of First Instance in 2023.

The dispute arose in 2020 when a former senior manager alleged abusive dismissal and claimed more than EGP 50 million in compensation.Our team has managed to achieve this outcome despite the complex legal aspects of the dispute and the poor wording of the underlying agreement.

This dispute is another achievement in our Team’s track record in handling complex legal disputes, especially labor disputes. ALC team was led by our Partner Yehia Shahine and included Yasser Hegazy (Senior Associate) and Jihad Salah (Junior Associate).
